RE: Hunter checklist
this isn' t a check list but it might help. My son is in the boy Scouts ( and because of that so am I) we both have back packs and what I do is leave what I call the esential gear packed.. Mess kit, matches, poncho, back packing stove, ect that way all I need to pack is the appropiate sleeping bag , clothing and food.
A small day pack with your GPS (and or compass) calls ( if you use them) and any other gear you most always take with you then all you need is to pack your perishable items and your off.

RE: Hunter checklist
Dave: This guy has one in his links also. On the left side after the site fully loads. Calls it a supply list. http://ca.geocities.com/petergward/home.htm
