food plot, they last 3-7 years, and with the price of corn up, seed is just about the same cos, but you dont have to replant every year.

dont really need alot of land. small food plots are like candy to deer.
its more beneficial as well. yer feeder only throws a few feet..like a 20 foot circle maybe? how many feeders ya run.the guy next to us has patches of plot throughout his property, just about 20 foot circles er so, and usually have signs of life.
we have a 15 acre spot, we might make a 9 acre plot er so this summer..that will be corn i wont have to buy fer the next 5 years. no batteries, haulin heavy bags, old corn growin in the back of the samurai, well you know already.

Try a molasses pop or sweet mix people give their horses. Just if there are bears in the area they will find them quick.

I had really good luck with apples this past year. But they do not last long, I am actually considering planting a few apple trees out by my stand
