No, the deer in the first picture was not caped out. You can see the smaller body and legs underneath the giant head.

The first picture is a pretty obvious fake.

I have no idea as to if its real or not. I didnt kill it nor do I know the guy who did. All I know is if he did then its definitely a buck of a lifetime. As far as him being a duck hunter and you saying you hope he had a tag; there is not a tagging system in Mississippi. As long as he had a hunting license its legal.

I thought it looked fake also but evidently NOT. Its on the boone and crocket website. 197 gross, 175 net.
