Hello all,
I recently moved to Florida (Santa Rosa County) from New Mexico. In New Mexico I hunted mule deer but I have never hunted whitetails. Is there any difference in hunting technique? Also in the panhandle can you just hunt on the WMA's or are there public areas that you do not need to draw a quota permit for?
Thanks!

for the next 2 weeks and then muzzleloading season in feburary you don't have to have a quota for blackwater. escambia river you don't need a quota but a boat would be helpful. there are a pile of leases in the area for next year......tony
