The real question is, "What are your standards?" If you are a trophy hunter looking for 140 class deer then you let him pass. If you control your own property and are participating in Whitetail deer management you would also let him pass. However, if you are happy to take a buck per year then go ahead and take him now or in late muzzleloader. Where I'm from in Virginia, he would be quite the prize and I don't know of anyone that would let him pass.
