Indiana Rifle Deer??
I've read some info on new gun deer regs in Indiana?
Didn't indiana use to allow regular rifle cartridges? now I see essentially they've gone to pistol cartridges?
I see a .358 wssm and .458 socom or .450bushmaster can get around these?

Indiana allows just about any rifle cartridge if used in a handgun.
Currently, rifles can be used if the cartridge case if 1.625" or shorter and the bullet is at least 35 caliber. In 2012, the maximum case length will go to 1.8".
There are wildcats based on the WSM and WSSM cases, but I'm not aware of any such factory guns/cartridges. With the increase to 1.8" cases, pretty decent performance can be had with wildcats based on 308 cases.
