Marc, thanks for the info.. I didn't really give enough info, but what i meant was that i have purchased a license in Ohio where I live... So am i still required to take the safety courses in order to buy a Wisconsin license?

Yeah thats what I was thinking you ment. I am from Michigan, my Uncle also and he didn't have to take the course. I go to Ohio every year and they require a safety course too, and I haven't taken one in Ohio.

white River public hunting ground
White river area is totally under water and no deer there this year. If you want to drive up near "Richford" Wisconsin (Wautoma area) there are public hunting grounds we drive by to go to our leased land every day. We've had HUGE bucks run in front of the car coming out of that public hunting ground. It's the Mecan River area land.

If you were born before 1970 you do not need to take the hunter's safety course. If you were born after 1970 you will need to provide proof that you have passed a hunters safety course. I'm not sure if that applies to bowhunting or not however.
