Default Loosing my mind.. seen 10 in 3 days

So my preseason work went in the trash, those spots were super cold. Ive been hunting the past few days mornings and nights along some dog/ rabbit hunting trails, specifically one that runs into a oak clearning/ thick bedding area. My shooting lanes are limited, and Ive had deer come in on the bedding area side, and today two shooter bucks (one 6 pt, and the other a massive 8-10 pt? prolly 120"+) Both of them came in down wind after bleating, the big boy was right behind me I never knew it and went bounding off when I looked his way, probably 7 yrds from my tree. Im loosing my mind! It was 15-22 mph wind gusts when those bucks showed. And rained las night so I didnt hear either walk in. Lots of creeks around, and a bean field he went towards. Im archery hunting out there... think Ill see that big buck again?

all I can tell ya bud is to sit on the stand knowing that a 120 inch buck is watching you all the time.

if you ask you set up to close to their core area. So you have to be on super high alert at all times.

I like your idea of the scent bombs good luck. Maybe a mock scrape wouldnt hurt either.

Had a nice Doe do this to me at first light, looked at the spot a few seconds earlier was scaning back that way and there she was looking right my way and trotted off after a few seconds of me seeing her. They are amazingly quite animals and when the leaves are wet forget hearing them unless they snap a twig.
