Default Massive Rub!! Need Help Identifing.

Need some help and or opinions.. is this from a deer, bear, cougar, or is it someone screwing with me and man made. The tree itself is about 8-10 in in diameter to give reference. Please give me your thoughts and or explanations as to why you think you think.. Thanks

2nd and 3rd look more like bear,
first thinking maybe bear tried to climb the tree?
as scratches way down on the bottom of the tree

I could be wrong but it looks like someone is playing a cruel joke on local hunters. They don't look quite right.

Most rubs that I have seen in my area are on trees that are smaller in diameter...like in the 3-4 inch range. The higher up the rub the bigger the buck...

we have had massive deer come off our property before... 16 pt with 22" inside spread...it had a 3rd horn coming from middle of head, 11 pt with 24.5" inside spread, 11 pt with a rack so thick couldn't get hands around it and 18" inside, 9 pt with tines over 10" and the rack stood over 1.5' over his head...so we do have big deer (no we are not a ranch) but haven't seen a tree this tore up before...

The first picture looks closest to a rub out of all of them, but the depth just isn't right. The buck would have to have some sharp tines to dig in that far.
