G actually doesn' t stand for anything. It' s just the position in the sequence on the score sheet when scoring an animal. Steps A,B,C...etc and G being when you score the length of each tine.
A) asks number of points on each side.
B) asks tip to tip spread of the rack
C) asks the greatest spread
D) asks the inside spread
E) asks the total of abnormal inches
F) asks main beam lengths
G) asks the length of each tine, ie...G1' s, G2' s etc....
H) asks circumferences.
