Last year, I purchased the Primos Long Can. It sounds great, but frankly I dont think a deer could hear from more than 35 yards away. Is this the same with all doe bleat calls? If not, do you have a suggestion on one that sounds good but has a little range?

Doall, I "hear" ya. Some of the cans I've owned in the past didn't seem to have any range. I eventually quit using them, and started using my True Talker for doe bleats. You can control your style/pitch of bleat like a flute. It's worked for me, so I just said heck with the cans.
