I too was just informed about the farm I hunt in MD getting a crop damage permit.

If you' re only a 1/2 hour away from the ice box that' s no big deal. As long as you field dress it right away you' ll be alright.

Just field dress it and drop in a few bags of ice concentrating on the hindquarters and go, 1/2 hour is not that much time.

I agree 1/2 hour is no big deal.

Field dress it and put some frozen milk jugs in the cavity.
