Do you eat deer???
He has 2 backstraps, hams, shoulders, tenderloins, etc...
If you hunt to put deer in the freezer, he qualifies...
Now, if you are hunting for a trophy, horns or bragging rights,
keep looking......

I would take him because you might not get the chance again and some one else will take him. He is a nice looking 8point. You will have to decide if you will or won't when he is in front of you. Good luck on what you decide.

Depending on your view, he's a nice buck, young probably just 2.5 yrs old by the thin front shoulders
I'd let him walk most likely, but then it depends on the time of the season and how many does are in the freezer. he walks by late season and I've only got the freezer half full, he's done.
But then I'm mainly a meat hunter
