Here in Alabama where we have a long deer season and the deer get a lot of pressure I want the bottom of my feet to be at least 25 feet off the ground. I've seen does step into a green patch here and scan the tree line so deliberately I half expected to see them lift their hoof up over the top of their eyes the way a human does to block the sun. On the bow hunting trips I have gone on to Illinois the deer up there don't seem to be nearly as bad about looking up as ours down here.
