Hunting in Oklahoma
Hey, guys, I'll just tell you, I'm new to this site, so if I do something incorrectly, that's why.
Ok, so I'll be hunting in Oklahoma, Tulsa area, in Oct, public land, and I don't live there, nor will I be able to see the land before I get there. So I was wondering what might be the first recommendation, with the best chance of success. (I will be bowhunting) The area doesn't have to be overly close to Tulsa, a drive of two hours isn't all that much in my mind.
Thanks

Osage co. and Cherokee co. usually lead the state in total number harvested. Neither are far from Tulsa.
I know some old timers that have killed some monsters at deep fork and okmulgee.
