DON'T DO IT!!!! I shot a coyote last year with one and it did not make it into it, just split open its ribs and fell out after it ran several yards. Was only 17yds. Thats why I now use only a GrimReaper.

they are not designed for deer you won't get penatration and the blades are thin so they may break off onthe ribs,
plus you would need a huge guitine blade head with extreme poundage to shoot a deer in the head to decapatate it like a turkey. lol

Don't think I can manage getting one into the woods. For sure my pack is not that big. Heck the blade alone weighs about 15#! The mouton adds another 65# or so .... Lord only knows what the frame would weigh ! Guess it's depend upon if it were made of cedar or oak. Besides, how to get the deer to stand still long enough to make a clean kill. Oh ...you meant the broad head !!!

I agree...You won't get the penatration needed to kill a Deer!Using it for squirrels and small varmints it could work.

Too heavy to carry in the woods.
