abosoute best way to avoid ticks...sulfer tabs..they sell em in the country store...buy a whole bottle..start eating them as directed 3 days before you go out...it is safe to eat them everyday of your life..works fer all the insects too

I found two ticks on my pants leg inside of my snake boots the last time I went turkey hunting a couple of weeks ago. They were both dead. I believe and use Permathrin based products like Repel Permanon or the Sawyer's stuff, whichever is easiest to find.
