New scent control product
I just got off the phone with a man who has been working on a totaly new way for hunters to control their odors, for the last 4 years. He DOES NOT claim to be able to "totally eliminate" unwanted orors, but to be able to "significantly reduce unwanted odors", which should help us all.
I'e ben aware of this new product, and the trials and tribulations this man has gone through, in order to abe able to get the chemicals to reduce odor, to be used on clothing for hunters. The first trial shipment to him is expected by next we, and if both he and I (I will do some of the field testing) are satisfied that it does work, it will be available by fall.
I'm really excited about this, and so are severl very influential people in the hunting industry, who will be involved in the marketing of this product.
I will keep you updated.

If he will take his product, spray down (or however it is suppose to work) go thru the woods for 1/2 mile and have a qualified handler use a trained bloodhound, and the bloodhound not be able to smell him, I might try it. Film it, might make a good commercial.

He had one of the dog handlers on You Tube test his fabric, and got a good review. He had a local dog hanlder test his new wach, and got a good review. I can assure you we il get a vide of this stuff in action. Bu, I know he hs hd it tested in the labratory and in the field.
this is a product that has been used in extensively the medical community for several years to reduce odors. So it already has a long record. The problem has been how to get it in larger concentrations and be able to get it to stay on clothing for an extended peeriod of time, so it would be suitable for hunters. That is why it took 4 years.
If he didn't care it it really worked or not, he could have come out with it years ago.
I can assure you that the people who are behind this, who are all well known in the hunting industry, who will be involved in the marketing of it, would not be doing it - if it did not work - because their reputations - like mine - are on the line.
Two of these people have been in the scent control manufacturng business - for over 20 years. One is a very well known hunter, and I think another well know hunter will be on board.
I fully expect this to set the scent control industry and market on its head.
