Default 14inch Spike Sheds

I found a matching set of antlers today.Went to a 50acre tract of land I got permission to hunt back in the summer,I ain't hunted it since bow season,so i thought i'd ride over there to see what kind of activity I missed out on (rubs and scrapes) and to see if any signs of trespassers. While walking a heavily used deer trail, there was a small tree leaned over the trail,i almost had to crawl under it,and as I was standing back up,I look down and there lays 1 antler, and as I pick it up,and turn around, low and behold there lays the other. My first set of matching sheds. There is still blood on them where they had just come off.I say he was going under the tree and nudged them off.I've never seen spikes so big,I measured them and they are both a tad over 14 inches long..I'd love to got him,and made a euro mount out of him.Maybe I will run into him next bow season, gonna put a camera out this weekend and maybe get pics of him..

Thats a 30-06 shell in the pic to help with size..

Thats what I was thinking,i was hopeing he was an older deer.I hope he comes back as an even bigger spike next year, would make a killer euro mount..I'll be putting trail cams on this place all summer,so hopefully,we'll see if he sticks around!
