Trail Camera help
#1
I hunt on a groove in Southwest Minnesota. If any of u have seen it here it is mostly all farmland and hardly any hills. I was recently told though that all the deer here heard up and the person who told me this said the probably go to a huge lake of marshs about 5 miles away from my hunting area i was wondering if i put my cameras out now in january if I would get any pictures. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums, hope you find your time here both enjoyable and informative. I would put cameras in both places to get a better idea of travel routes and the times the deer are there. Of course all this info will change by next hunting season. Good luck.

Put it out. Move it around, check it weekly. You'll figure out what's going on and if you run it year round, you'll learn how the patterns change. It's prett cool. Look around your land, guess at the travel corridors and food areas and give it a shot. It becomes a new extension of hunting!
