Default all in one setup with an encore?

I enjoy all types of hunting, small game like squirrel as well as turkey and deer. Several times this year i will be out hunting for one and ill run across the others, and so it struck me....what if i could carry one gun and be able to hunt for all 3 at the same time (when seasons are overlapping of course). I have an encore pro-hunter...I was thinking about this and if i went in the woods with a 20gauge barrel in it, I could carry slugs, turkey loads and maybe some #6s and have all 3 covered, and since its a single shot it would be pretty easy to pop it open and change out the ammo on the fly. Maybe outfit it with a reddot scope and zero for deer then see how the pattern hits with the turkey and squirrel loads. I hunt in pretty mountainous thick areas, so less than 100 yard deer shots are pretty common. Does this make sense to anybody else or am i totally off base here.

I do that with my double barrel 20 ga. form time to time. For the same reason that I can keep bird shot in one barrel and a slug in the other.

Check your game laws before you do. I think in some states it is illegal to have slugs and birdshot in the field at the same time.
