I can only assume he was in one heck of a battle. Any thoughts?

Im pretty sure that is a result to an injury on the opposite side of the deer.

That's one of the first things I thought about, but it looks like it would've been pretty symmetrical and not too sure it would grow like that, but who knows? He would have to be a new deer in the area, since I've had that camera up for a while now. Better shoot him now, that's one hell of a spread!

yea thats what i would do, it would also make for an interesting mount. maybe not full just European.
