Talking You guys made this possible!!!

Three weeks before the opening day of the Indiana bow season I picked up the first bow of my life. I was bound and determined to be ready for opening day. I spent hours every day shooting arrow after arrow. At one point I was having a big problem. This is when I posted my first thread on HuntingNet. Within a few days you guys helped me solve and fix the problem I was having with my form.

Opening day came and wouldn't you know it a nice 6 point buck came within 35 yards. I took my first bow shot at a deer and missed him. I shot low.... But I am really glad I did lol.

On Oct. 30 this monster stepped out of the swamp and made the bad decision of coming within 20 yards of my tree. I calmed myself and put an arrow right through his lungs. I was so pumped I almost fell out of my tree.

This was my first buck ever!!! I am 20 years old and have been hunting for the past 6 years and have only gotten a doe up to this point. I would have never guessed I would have gotten my first buck with a bow. Now I have a new one for the scrap book... and my wall!!! lol

This is a 9 point buck that weighed over 200 pounds after being dressed!! Thank the Lord!!!

I have been bow hunting for 6yrs this year and i still havent killed 1 that big, well not that tall, my biggest is 16 1/2" wide, but not very tall and it was a 7pt and i shot him this year at 10yds and he didnt run 50yds and fell in a pile and didnt move again. again congrats on a nice buck!
