I killed this buck in MT the day after helping my wife get her best mule deer. We went back to the same field she had hunted and this guy came cruising by at 300 yards shortly after first light. A quick decision to shoot him was made and I took a good rest on a fence post. I tried to stop him by whistling but he didn't hear so I ended up just yelling at him. He slammed on the brakes and gave me plenty of time, one shot with the .300 WSM did the trick. Not my biggest but a good buck with 6 inch brows.
