Default Anyone else over large corn/bean field?

I pondered over how/where to set up for this weekend on the land I recently gained permission to hunt on. If I knew how to show a google earth image of the land I would but I do not know how. But, there is somewhere around 160 acres I was given permission to hunt on. There is a large creek that runs directly through the middle diagonally. The north side of the creek is a mile of open corn field so I definitely didn't want to set up north of creek, south of the creek is 500yds of tree line along the creek and directly across the property line is a smaller 150 yard stretch of thick brush and woods that look over the field. Behind the brush my side of property line is a small corn patch and to right of where i set up is large wooded area and more field. I decided to hunt the very southeastern corner of the property on top of some dozed trees that were dozed years ago that sit right off into the wooded area. They raise me up about fifteen feet and it is simply to climb. I simply nailed a pailet onto some 2x4's up above and I planned on just sitting there looking over the creek's tree line and field and keeping a very close eye on the wooded patch beside me and the trails leading up to it. I chose this location because it gives me an entire shooting range at the wooded area, the creek, and the field and is elevated to give me better shot choice and better view on woods. There were several large rubs and scrapes and a very evident bedding area all around a very wall weeded area.

The reason I am second guessing my location is because I am unfamiliar with the area, but I have already gotten in touch with everyone hunting in that area. Luckily, the guy to the south of me is few hundred yards south hunting with his son he has had 3 trail cameras set up on the land and admitted to seeing several bucks from small to very nice and some nice does. To the east is supposed to 2 hunters about a half a mile away in the woods. My hopes is that I catch a nice one headed in to bed, coming from bed, one being driven from the 4 hunters around me, or one just crossing the field.

What Im really wanting to see/hear is how some of you other guys set up if your looking over a large corn field and you dont have access to alot of timber? Pictures are a plus, etc. Just getting anxcious and nervous and anticipated saturday morning!

I'm on a triple cornfield/hayfield array, and I have 3 areas of substantial sign.
Two are deer, one is an absolute turkey highway, 4 lanes each way.
I set up for the deer depending on wind. It's usually from the southwest, so I set in to a pocket just below the crop border in some hemlocks with a wide field of view and darkness to my back. Makeshift blind of sorts.
IF the wind is playing funky with me, I'll set in a tree about 50 yards west of there, come in from the north, over a creek crossing (only place that can be crossed for a half mile each way), and sit in the acorn patch.
For the turkeys, I just climb a tree in the middle of the path and wait. They respond to my kee kee run well, and I had them at 15 yards last weekend, but in my super jittery first turkey gotta shoot it now hopein I don't miss...yep...I missed.

Sounds like we have a smiliar set up I wish you luck on opening morning! Just ready to get out there and get what I've been waiting for. Not only am I ready but I didnt shoot one last year cause I still had meat in the freezer ready to bag a nice buck, or get some more meat in the freezer or both. Today while scouting out the land I can hunt on and my own I saw a small buck non shooter, 2 does and a very nice 8 point to the east of where i hunt.
