Default Sickening problem

All this summer and fall I noticed that I havent been seeing hardly ANY bucks around. Ive went out spotting at night (legal without a gun or bow) and I have seen maybe 4 bucks in total all year. The other day me and my nephew went out spotting and I said "Wouldnt it suck to find out that someone was going around shooting every deer they saw?" Well a few days ago I found out thats exactly whats going on. Theres been a group of teenagers/low 20's going out at night and shooting the hell out of deer around here. They have been confronted about it, and turned in to the DNR but thats not helping. They continue to go out and shoot deer and let them lay. Its out of control. I dont know what to do.

Find them. Throw a spot light in there eyes. Aim right between the two shinny things and pull the trigger. Problem solved! That would be the easy way.
On a more serious note go and talk to you DNR person and see what is being done about it. Sometimes all they need is a little more evidence and maybe you know something that can help.

Default Never scouted one spot

You never know the overall conditions of a square mile. The more areas you can scout, I always thought I was better off. Some areas always had more deer than others. Over hunting! Too many hunters! Poachers!!! I could never be sure. But I never bet on one pot. If the pot looked bad for a day or two, I'd move. I moved to find the deer. Never expected the deer to come look for me.
