Default Management 8 or not?

These two deer appear to be the same age but the one on the right is considerably smaller that the one on the left. The rain this year has been substantial and forage was great so I think the diffrence is genes. The second pic is of him alone. What do you think?

I would guess the larger deer is a 2 1/2 and the other is 1 1/2, both of them are tender.

I would assume those 2 dear are 1 year apart...neither would justify being a management buck yet...

Maybe next year if the lil guy stays lil, or an odd rack, ie 7pt, 9pt....but like they say a spike as a yearling can go on to be a big boy, so being young and little doesn't mean much, wait a year and see.
