I've had wonderful success hunting rub lines. I'd hunt in the forest about two thirds of the way to the feeding area. Try setting up a trail camera so you can pattern the times he uses the line. That will help you to determine when to set up. If he is running the line at a time when you can't intercept him, follow the advice of a previous response and see if you can get him in his bed. Most important don't go to the line too often or he'll stop using it. Save the best for last. Good luck and be careful. Safe hunting is always successful hunting.
