The satisfaction you get from seeing someone you love shoot a nice buck is so rewarding it's hard for me to even put the feelings into words. If it was me, I wouldn't have even had to think about it.

Shoulder Strap,

When I think about all the deer and turkeys my dad let me shoot as a kid instead of him, seeing him get more excited than I was, it's a no-brainer in my mind to let the wife go after him. I would 10 times rather my wife kill a monster than myself. Same goes with the kids. It's a different kind of excitement when someone you care about is successful, but in my opinion, it's a lot better feeling.

IMHO, for as much as I would love to tap a monster buck, the rewards of allowing my honey to pop it instead greatly outweigh the satisfaction I would get from doing it myself.
It's an experience she'll never forget, and always remember your kindness in giving her that opportunity, putting her before yourself.
I bet you'll get a monster rush from it as well.
Besides, if she doesn't get it early, or duffs it, you may get a later opportunity on it.
