Does anybody here dip tobbacco while there deer hunting will the smell scare deer ?

i asked the same question yesterday. its "Dipping Wintergreen while deer hunting"

Not sure but I'm not going to stop. You might never see the deer that wind you 100 yards away but I have shot deer within 15 yards of my tree. If I'm in the woods I'm dipping.

I think of it as a cover scent, I too if I am in the woods I am dipping,

funny story back in my younger and wilder day's I used to smoke a green leafy substance while hunting. killed my first bow buck and bigest buck to date. he came in dead down wind. I may go back to that strategy

I always have a pinch in when I am in the tree hunting. I just go smaller so I dont have to spat on the ground. Swallow and toss it out when I get back to the house.
