I have shot both Lightfield Hybred exp 2 3/4 " and Hornady SST 2 3/4 and like them both and shoot good out of my 12 g. Which one is better for hunting woods? I am having hard time trying to figure out what to use?

I agree either one is great. If your hunting in the woods your shots can be limited, the Lightfields are heavier in weight, and slower in speed, they hit harder. The Hornadys are lighter in weight and faster they will reach out further, if your hunting in open fields, or where your shots will be over 125 yards the Hornady would be my choice over the Lightfields.
I also use the Lightfields in my 12ga. I'm hunting deep woods, everything I shot with them either dropped in their tracks or died within yards, the same can be said when I'm using my 20ga and Hornady.
Either choice you will not go wrong!!!!
