Before I abandoned my slug guns (in favor of a new .308), my Mossberg 535 did well with 2 3/4" Winchester partition golds and Federal Power-shok slugs. The only problem with the partition slugs is they can really tear up some meat! The win-lite slugs were also plenty accurate and a good choice for those that can't help but flinch from the kick of a slug.
