Sorry guys. I have not shot a buck in my life. But, I am up to 91 turkeys in 11 years with my bow. I see bucks out to my farm all the time, but never shoot them myself. I have 8 full mount turkeys in my house, but no deer mounts at all. I had a friend who shot a beautiful 12 pointer laster year. I think it scored in the 150's. I just like to plant my white clover and my other food plots. I just enjoy the wildlife. I have also videod wildlife and got some great footage of deer feeding. I really don't care for outfitters that charge large amounts of money for trophies, especially when they don't care about the meat at all. Observing wildlife, bow hunting for turkey, making foot plots and 4-wheeling are my hobbies.

I see these big white tail deer all the time. They are a dime a dozen in Illinois. ha ha To me there is no thrill of shooting a deer. I get more of a thrill shooting a turkey. I bow hunt only.

Turkman sounds like a pretty straight shooter to me. I'm not a fan of outfitters taking over good hunting land at all either, they drive up the prices on land and leases. Makes it tough for the single hunters like me to find a decent spot to hunt without spending more than $3,000 an acre for a decent small piece of acreage.

I'm personally not much of a turkey hunter but love to deer hunt. Everybody has there favorite animal to hunt and Turkman's favorite animals is Turkeys, I just wish he'd just quite rubbing those big boys in our face! Just Kidding!

Keep those trail cam pics coming. I only have VERY urban areas to hunt in Illinois and haven't seen a decent buck to save my life this year.
