That's cool. He's getting all the protein he can get.

A couple of years i got some pics of a squirrel attacking a dove nest and eating one of the live dove chicks out of the nest. Nature will sure surprise you sometimes.

It's not uncommon for a squirrel to chow down on baby birds. For some reason they will eat the brain only. I have seen it happen a couple times. I have never heard of a deer eating a whole bird. That is crazy. BTW, the birds annoying the deer were probably trying to protect the baby bird.

Deer are OMNIVORES! Who would have thought maybe that is why they have canine teeth on some species of deer??????
