RE: will my deer be run off
 

When my house was being built--even with all the construction equipment and people around--deer were seen just about every day in my yard. Once I brought my dog to the new house, the deer activity diminished drastically. When that dog (also a lab) died last year, the deer once again began to reappear--until we bought a German Shepherd! [:o]

A friend of mine who doesn' t hunt used to brag about all the deer he saw in his yard on a daily basis. When he talked about getting a Rottweiler, I told him the deer sightings would go down. When he got the dog, he very rarely saw deer anymore and wondered what had happened.
