Default Son's 1st Buck Back from Taxi.

My son's first. He got it last fall in archery. I know it's not a P&Y, but he's only 7.

Indeed it is. And my dad is probably even more proud than me!!!

In actuality, I think it grosses about 20". 3" main beams, 4" spread and 5" in circ measurements a side

A bow kill by a 7 y/o? Quite impressive!

I was and am still very proud!!!

Well, not quite. Crossbow. Although he shoots a bow quite often, it does not meet the minimum 45lbs draw weight for our state. His bow is a 30lb.

But we did get within 10 yards of the buck. He made an offhand shot through the heart.

I can't wait until he can draw 45lbs and shoot a legal compound.

Nothing wrong with that buck! Every time he looks at it, he will remember his first bow kill.
