Hello all, A few months back on another forum, I got into a debate with a few guys regarding blind calling. This was a more localized hunting forum, that seemed to be run by a few closed minded folks just out to bash you, but I’ll leave that one alone. Most responses I got that is was “counter productive” Being this is a forum for guys and gals all over the US, I just wanted to see what you all think. My opinion is blind calling can be very effective, done in moderation to bring in deer that may not be seen, and has worked for me multiple times in the past, actually it worked more than calling to seen deer. What are all your opinions? I do realize that you can spook a deer if they are to close when you call, I am in Kansas so usually don’t have the issue come up that they sneak up on me with out being seen “not usually anyway”. Any opinions, does anyone else use this useful tactic, I feel it can’t hurt might help and a real crowd pleaser LOL
