Default What's with Sportsmans Guide?

I just had the new Sportsmans Guide catalog come in the mail and I thought I was looking at a Harbor freight tools catalog.
They have small RC helicopters, umbrellas, violins, and curling irons to mention a few.

Sportsmans Guide, Please don't turn into China junk like Harbor freight Tools.

I get an e-mail from them almost every day with their sales stuff and it really is a diverse assortment. I got a 200 lumens LED flashlight today VIA UPS from them. Not sure just how much I like it so far, kinda heavy and the light is different. I hope it is a good tracking light.

as long as they keep some decent stuff...

I'm looking at tow straps at the moment after recently getting stuck in the mud, not sure which though.

2"X20'
2"x30'
4"x30'

all the same price.

Sportsman's Guide is a French owned company - at least the last 2 to 3 years - and I'm surprised it hasn't turned into Harbor Freight.

What do you expect, they deal with closeouts and overstocks. If they think they can make some money off of an item they'll buy it and resale it.
