3 and 4 day hunts - like to hear from outfitters too!
I can only assume it’s a financial reason that more and more hunts are shorter such as a 3 day hunt. Kansas seems to be the leader here. So what’s the reason....don't raise costs>> you just shorten the hunt?
If your species that you offer is above par you get to move twice the amount of hunters through the same season and therefore it doubles your income for the same amount of work...in theory. Has it ever occurred that in time you will loose more clients (such as me) who understand everything goes up ...as much as we hate to admit it...and keep the hunts 5 or 6 days?
How about the guy who saves and saves for a lifetime hunt that only lasts 3 days? Why bother? Even if the quantity and quality of game is good that person on a lifetime hunt could hit severe weather and not even score...I'm sure it’s happened many times.
I don't mean any harm here...business is business. I guess I'm getting old (55) and set in my ways. Just never saw hunting season as a three day trip. Disappointing for me

I am not sure why many of the hunts are going to 3 days. I do know with the good quality outfits what isn't the reason and "If your species that you offer is above par you get to move twice the amount of hunters through the same season and therefore it doubles your income for the same amount of work...in theory" is not the reason. Quality outfits are not after moving twice the number of hunters through and in fact the good ones keep it very limited on the number of hunters they book and the number of mature bucks they allowed to be shot.
