Default Urine Color

I live and hunt on Long Island. We were scouting and winterizing some stands this past weekend, and i noticed that the color of the deer urine was orange to almost blood red.... do you have any idea what the casue was? Is this normal? Something they are eating?? Thanks

Urine also changes color as it stays in the snow.

Not sure about other mammals, but humans who are dehydrated urinate more yellow and more clear urine when they are well hydrated.

I've also seen light blue - no joke.
I poised this question last year about blue urine and the consensus was a type of bush / berry (not blueberry).
I thought it was a family of smurfs
