the best i can tell 2.5,it is possible for a deer to be only 1-2-3-4-5 years of age during hunting season,there is always the oddball deer that is born early or late,i read stories every year of fawns with spots on them in nov,somebody shot a doe during archery season this past season & it had a pretty good size fawn in it,it may happen a lot more than a any of us know.i see a lot of different deer sizes sometimes & it makes you wonder just how much difference is there in their age,mike300wm

In Ohio that a 2 or 2 1/2 year old deer. In Georgia where I hunt that's a 3 or 3 1/2 year old deer.
