Wow, those are some amazing results. Congratulations. Usually I put 8-10 hours of searching in per antler that I find. I usually go to a town that has 50-100 deer per square mile with no hunting. This is ideal. And, I still put this much time into it. You must have some good luck. Once again, good job.

A hunter on a neighboring property during our antlerless handgun only season shot a decent bodied buck that appeared to had lost his antlers shortly before being taken and tha was the 19th of this month

Coyotes.....where are you searching cause Coyotes are very and I mean very rare around here. I saw one in 15 yrs of hunting and it could have been a large fox. You live in Stafford and I'm only an hour away. There are no Coyotes there nor at Quntico which is a big chunk of the land in that area. I think that deer died of a old injury ,disease, or an infection and was eaten by vultures or fox.

I'm not questioning, I'm just telling you of my experience. FYI, I'v hunted Quantico, Fairfax, Prince William, Fauqier, Culpeper, Orange, Page, Warrenton, Front Royal, and Shannendoah Co.'s and I haven't seen but one in my fifteen years of hunting and like I said, its a maybe. As for spending time in the woods....my parents owned 278 acres in Rappahanock for 30 yrs so I spent a lot of time there and I know the woods. Even though it wasn't a good year, I was out 50+ times this hunting season and that does'nt include the scouting time I spent in the woods.
What year did you see that Coyote in Alexandria??? It is a pretty busy city. I've heard of German Shepards being mistaken for Coyotes LOL. Know what, you're right, now that I think about it. I've seen them in Washington DC. The National Zoo that is<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>.
Okay..I've had my fun. Seriously like I said before, its my outdoor experience and I have alot of it. As for questioning you're character, I wasn't. Good day.
