RE: Favorite Gun?
Wow, never thought of it before....
The one I hunt with most isn' t my favorite, it' s just my best bet, Ruger Mark II M-77 standard .30-06 4-16x42mm glass up top and timney trigger.
My favorite is my stainless steel Ruger Super Blackhawk .44mag, power custom free spin pawl and reduced trigger pull, square back trigger guard, black micartas, nothing quite like taking a fat whitetail with a wheelgun.

RE: Favorite Gun?
alright rednekhuntr atleast someone knows a quality gun when they see one....my grama has one from one of her husbands...its also in 308..i used it to take my first deer...i love that gun...one day it wil lbe mine i hope....of all the great deer rifles out there i cant retier the mauser.....its long big and heavy...i still cant bring myself to buying a nice new little light rifle......it would kill me not to carry it out with me...its a beautiful gun and has more history then most any other gun out in the deer woods.....you should see me walk through thick cover with it.....i hold it like its my baby! lol...id really love one of the tiny ruger no1s...it seems it would be the ideal deer rifle for me the way i hunt in thick thick cover and walk 2 miles one way to our spot..the mauser sure puts back muscles on me..my dad had a no1 but hes not big on recoil and sold it....i could smacked him...i would loved to have it....but i have the money to buy my own now and still wont.....that means it or the mauser stays at home and i wont have that.....

RE: Favorite Gun?
i have many guns but to pick a favorite is hard.the best shooting gun i have is a browning lightening blr 7mag. i have a swarovski 4x12x50 scope on it.i hunt around a lot of steep drop offs and steep ravines. this gun thru the shoulder drops them in their tracks.
