Good job. My first buck ever was similar, I came across him still-hunting and he'd torn up an 20 yd circle, had been there for days and could barely gain his feet before going back down. Even though it was a bad rack and I could tell from the smell he would not be edible I filled my one and only deer tag for the year with him as I could not leave him like that. Some incompetent you-know-whats had put three slugs and a load of buckshot through his non-vitals...plus an infected broadhead in the shoulder from bow season.
