Default One down one to go

Well i got two doe tags last week and have been hunting all week and did not connect until today . The gun i got for christmas which is a savage model 110 was the gun i used and it deff got the job done for the first deer taken with it. I saw the doe and her babies wayyy on the other side of this feild so i decided to try to stalk. Well after about 10 minutes of stalking i finally get to the spot i saw them. I looked around and didnt see a thing. I thought to ahhh i must a got busted. So i just eased over the hill and saw a head so i immeadietly sat down and got setup. it was just the two little ones so i just watched them waiting for the big momma to come out. Well they eased along the woodline and then in the back i saw the big one. I couldnt get a clean shot because she was still over the hill and i only saw her back. Well after about 5 minutes she finnaly came over the hill so i could get a shot. BOOM! dropped strate down and slid down the hill since the ground was covred in snow. This is my first gun i have owned and i am extremly pleased with it so far =]. I still got one more doe to go fill the freezer. So i am going out tommrow again to see if i can get 2 in a row. Sorry no pictures i forgot the camera But if i get one again ill make sure i bring the camera this time. She wieghed in around 115.

Her "babies", what is this Disney ??? Hunters calls them FAWNS, not babies. LOL!

Congrats on your late season kill and good luck filling that last Doe tag.
