huntin the bama rut
I have been huntin in the evening for about 4 days straight. I haven't seen anything even though the rut is in full swing. I am huntin on a field edge right where a trail meets the field and I am not sure what the problem is. I think it might be the low temp. or the high winds. Lows in the teens and highs in the 30's, and winds at 11 to 23 miles an hour. What do yall think????????????

The low temps can only help you, they like to move in the low temps but with the winds as high as they are you need to me in the woods. The deer don't like winds over about 10 in bama it messes with their ability to smell so they won't be as willing to step out in a field. Find a spot in the woods where several trails intersect and hunt there. This week has been ruff with the bright moon but its getting better so get ready for this weekend.
