Congrats, Rebecca, I saw some of your pics, very impressive. I hope the game is plentiful when you get up there!

This sounds like real good advice.

First of all, I do congratulate her. About staying in the loop, I'm not so sure about that. She came to this forum to get votes, not to meet other hunters and talk about hunting. I hope she will stay in the loop, but I have a gut feeling she got what she wanted and she will go on her way. I deeply apologize if I'm wrong Rebecca. Good luck on your hunt and be safe.

SS I don't see it that way at all. True she did join to garner votes but she has proven she is a sportsman and has contributed to the forums. I personally like to see women on the boards and enjoy their ideas on hunting and all the outdoor persuits. She made it clear at least to me, that she has the ability to go after the most difficult game. I hope she will share with all of us about that hunt.

I'm not saying she is not a sportsman. I know she loves what she does, just like we do. I just wonder if she will stay on this forum and talk hunting like we do. I have my doubts. I think she came here to get votes and win a hunting trip, not to meet new people and talk about hunting, but we shall see. I do hope I am wrong.

Highly doubt you will hear from her until she goes on the hunt telling us how great it was or another contest starts.

I did not vote for what it is worth.

I voted for her also, but after looking at her pics on her facebook, wish I voted for someone else. Why does she NEED a free hunt? She has done it all and then some already...Africa, World Class Elk, Monster Mule Deer, Big Horn, etc etc. This hunt she won will be nothing "new" to her, wish someone who never experienced what she has would of won...after all it was named "The hunt of a lifetime".

I think she wanted to get her name out there, and maybe see if a career comes from it, but thats just my own opinion.

Post count doesn't mean anything. If she wants to come on the boards and talk then that is ok. If it isn't her cup of tea then that is ok too. Her first posts were to get the information out on the contest and to ask for votes. We all had a choice and some voted and some didn't. It wasn't like she was trying to deceive any of us. She was right up front IMO. I can accept that and certainly don't feel played.
