Default Need Advice

I need to know if I can still eat the heart and liver out of a gut hit.
I shoot a doe that looks to have hit the top of the stomach and right though the liver. So the liver has a hole right though it. I have wash the liver and heart off real good but it still smells like gut. So what do you guys think.

Default Not Me

I am one that will not eat internal organs to begin with. Just save me the back straps.

I know MANY who won't eat the internal organs...

But...

I hear mythical stories of how AWESOME the heart tastes, so I indulge in that. I fry in butter, add some salt and pepper... and dine like a King!

Bon appetit!

Eww, I don't eat the internal stuff anyways, but if I did and it smelled like guts. No, I wouldn't eat it.
