Default huntin hardwoods in the rut

Which one yall think is better, huntin with a wick covered in tinks or just wait for a buck to be chasin a doe .

Well, the tinks will draw the does in too. Then you have live decoys for the big boy!

I don't think you can go wrong with using scent, when using it sparingly. I've seen deer react harshly when encountering too much lure by getting a blast of it when they walk in closer.

I do recommend that you first locate the highest concentration of does and find a spot in that area to hunt. The bucks are after the does. So, hunt the does and the bucks will show eventually.

Unless your high in a tree.It's hard to set up where the bucks will smell the sent and not you.
