If your hunting spot will allow you to walk around, hunting on snowy windy days is hard to beat. There's more to hunting than sitting in a stand.

It is always good in the snow. Tracking that big buck down if you are in a large piece of woods is the best.

I have found that when hunting while its snowing, you can spot and stalk deer very effectively. They are easy to spot and its quieter walking and they have trouble seeing you, because there is so much other movement from the falling snow. Get out there and good luck!

Walk around and still hunt til you find a track and just follow the track. If it's snowing and theres little snow in the track, it's a fairly fresh, but that will also depend on how hard the snow is falling. Find a fresh track and follow it til you find the animal that made it. Best of luck. :guiness:

I REALLY want to go hunting tomorow. But there is NO way I could possibly get to where I'm hunting in 16 inches of snow. Just not possible. Why so much? I'd be satisfied with 5-7 inches.

will the deer be in the woods or will they go out into fields for feeding like they usally do

im from Page County, but yea there is no way in hell I can hunt tomorrow calling for anywhere from 18-24 inches of snow. My truck wont make it :nonono2:
